Family & Friends,
Our journey started 17 years ago when our son Jonathan started seizing at 6 months and, soon thereafter, was diagnosed with epilepsy. His frequent seizures impacted his development which lead to his mental impairment. This made it hard for him to participate in sports, which he LOVES.
In the 2nd grade, he started playing baseball with the Challengers, which is a baseball league for children with special needs. The league is run by the parents, family, and friends of the children who participate in the league. We are blessed to be part of a community that comes together to help and embrace our kids. Our children look forward to the games and take pride in being part of the Challengers. To see their faces light up as they round the bases or get a hit, is truly priceless.
The Tinley Park Bobcats Challengers need your help to finish and complete their adapted baseball field. On October 12, 2014 my husband and I are running the Chicago Marathon to help raise funds. Please help us by making a donation and feel free to pass this on to your family and friends. Every donation will help us complete their field of dreams! Click here to donate today.
Thank you,
Claudia and Henry Cuzco
